This is the official community for the When They Translate, a group currently working on translating the Higurashi visual novels into English, starting with Watanagashi-hen and picking up where the previous group left off. I help maintain this community and work as a beta-tester/editor for the group. The patches provided here will be for the Japanese versions of the games, so you will need to have imported at least Himatsubushi-hen and Matsuriyabashi-hen in order to apply them. Higurashi Daybreak EnglishJun 17, 2008 Post Reply Everything You Need/Want To Know About Higurashi and How to Get The Manga! And Daybreak, and the English Patch! Jan 03, 2010 Gameplay for the japanese only game, Higurashi Daybreak:3. This is gameplay from the english patch a friend of mine is working on. A lot of us had already purchased the games before MangaGamer's releases, only for the original translation project to grind to a halt. The 'official' translation provided by MangaGamer had many problems, including switched sprites and music, poor translation, and the removal of all extras. Rest assured these patches will not have these same issues and will be more accurate to the original works. Also, please be aware that this is a small group, so the patches may take some time. We will do our best to keep you updated. NOTE: I came up with the 'When They Translate' name.: P Members: sum422(Also known as 'BaratoMaya')-Editing/Translation/Scripting nibelungvalesty-Translation Syuasa-Translation SyberiaWinx-Editing/Beta-Tester/Community Maintainer. Just letting you know that I'm now on Day 11 - Part 2. This means, after this, only Day 12 and the epilogue is left and Watangashi-hen is officially done! To avoid bogging myself down with too much, something which I've been known to do in the past, I'm just going to focus on the translation aspect. After that, I'll finish off patching the voice files to Onikakushi-hen and Watanagashi-hen. Of course, if anyone wants to help me edit the voice files into the script, I'd be very grateful as that would get the job done a lot faster. If so, then feel free to message me, either on here or on my Tumblr account.:) Thanks for your patience yet again! Finished Day 10, Part 1 yesterday and inserted the translation into the script today. Started on Part 2 and will either have that done by the end of the week or next. I've also ditched porting Le Sanglot des Cigales Festival Matsuri patch into English. The main reason is because there's no file to the Answer arc version. I like consistancy and I don't want to put all the effort into the English translation, just to turn around later and tell you all I can't do the Answer arcs. So, instead, I'm porting the Nscripter engine instead. It took me a day or two, but I've changed all the sprites and backgrounds to the ones from the PS3 version, Sui. And same for the voices. This way, you won't need to read Watanagashi-hen on a different engine. You can just copy and paste it into the same folder as the original Japanese and play to your heart's content.:) Currently I'm trying to figure out how to insert the MOV files and stop them from disappearing on me when I convert the folder into the main NSA file. Hopefully, I'll come up with something, but, if worst comes to worst and I can't do it, I'll convert them into voice files, insert those into the scenes in the game, and include a folder with the videos themselves in the patch so you can watch them. Hopefully it won't come to that. I said I'd be posting how the patch is going, so here goes! Descargar gta 5 sin virus. Managed to insert the current translation into the PS2 port. Still need to finish off adding the English translation of Onikakushi-hen, but I figured get Watanagashi-hen out of the way first. Also did the same for the voice files and made sure it all works no problem. As for the PC patch, finished Day 8 and 9, TIPS included. Just inserting them into the script and editing them so there's no mistakes. Currently in the middle of translating Day 10. ![]() Hoping to get that done soon since Watanagashi-hen is so very close to completetion.:) I know that MangaGamers re-releasing the arcs with the new, improved translation, so I totally understand if, once this is finished, no one wants me to continue onto Tatarigoroshi-hen. I figured I'll get this done and, if you like what you see of my translation and want me to carry on, I'll do so (I won't take forever on the next arc, I swear.) At the very least, I'm proud of the patch I'll - hopefully - be releasing soon. If you have any questions, feel free to send me a message. You can also contact me on Tumblr. Thanks for your support.:). Hello, hello! It's been a long time, I know (Slow should be my middle name at this point), but I'm happy to say that the patch is going very well. More than halfway through with Watanagashi and making steady, fast progress with it, while the PS2 port version is taking a little longer, but just as good. At the very least, I found a way to convert the voice files in a batch rather than having to do them one by one, so it doesn't take too long.
